BYU’s Isaiah Glasker was dominant in BYU’s blowout win. Let’s take a closer look at him.

BYU Football was dominant in Week One. The Cougars blanked the Portland State Vikings 69-0. BYU’s Isaiah Glasker was a big part of that success. He had three tackles and a few hurries. BYU’s junior linebacker is a star, and last season he racked up impressive numbers. He had 70 tackles, three forced fumbles, and averaged three and a half sacks per game. He had a Pick Six in the home game against Arizona and was dominant all over the field.
Isaiah Glasker went to Bingam High School and was ranked the 17th Utah recruit by 247 Sports. He grew up in Salt Lake County, Utah, and is currently majoring in Marketing. He was selected to the Utah 6A All-Second Team in high school. He has quite the pedigree, and BYU has given him a wonderful opportunity to show what he can do.

Glasker joined BYU in 2022 and redshirted. He had a modest 2023 season with just three tackles. His Sophomore year last year was much better, and he is on track to have a monster 2025. BYU has started him for a while now, and he has not disappointed. Paired with Jack Kelly, Glasker is a beast.
Glasker is a real talent. He is physical and aggressive, just what you need in a linebacker. His pick-six and fumble recovery accounted for fourteen BYU points against Arizona. He is strong and gets the job done every time. The Cougars should utilize him and keep him going for the rest of the season. This is a big year for Glakser, and hopefully, he goes in as strong as can be.
