Real Salt Lake has been on fire lately, and they have a five-match unbeaten streak to show for it.

Real Salt Lake has had a dream start to the season. After a rough 1-0 loss at Vacnouver, the Claret and Cobalt have won four and drawn one. They have what I am calling one of the hardest opening stretches, but they have come out with 13 of 18 points. RSL pulled off an exciting 2-1 win againt Seattle at home, a wild 3-2 victory at Atlanta, and a 3-1 dub at home against Austin FC before drawing 2-2 against San Diego FC. RSL’s last result, a 3-1 win at America First Field against Sporting Kansas City, was yet another show of RSL’s youth revolution. The youth have been RSL’s secret recipe, and they are scoring at crazy rates.
Real Salt Lake has been on a tear, and the youth have been a big part of it. Stijn Spierings, Zavier Gozo, and Diego Luna have been on fire, and they don’t show signs of stopping. Since the injury to Ari Piol, the youth have been electric, and that is what I believe is behind this recent success. RSL has been a homegrown factory for years now, and Zavier Gozo is a great example of that. Alongside Spierings and Luna, among others, RSL has been succeding in attack.

Real Salt Lake had a week off last week, and there is hope for a pair of victories at home against San Diego FC and Inter Miami. These are two talented teams, and RSL won’t have it easy, but America First Field has been a fortress lately, and there is no sign of that changing. RSL has been lethal on the attack, with goals scored in 5/6 matches. In each win, and the one draw, RSL has scored at least two goals.
In conclusion, RSL has been a real force to be reckoned with. The attack is humming like a well-oiled machine, and they are crusing through the schedule. This next strech won’t be easy, but it will be a good test of RSL’s resilance and skill. This is a big couple weeks, and it is time for RSL to get ready.
